Savills has successfully concluded the leasing for one of the largest retail spaces in Singapore this year at a scheme known as Knightsbridge in Orchard Road with a letting to Topshop. The 15,000 sq ft three storey Topshop flagship will comprise Topshop and Topman, and is the brand’s largest flagship in Asia.

Knightsbridge is a new four-storey retail podium within Park Hotel Group’s flagship property, the five-star hotel Grand Park Orchard. The complex, which recently underwent a S$80 million refurbishment, comprises 83,000 sq ft of retail space. Besides Topshop and Topman this new retail podium will also boast international retail brands like Brooks Brothers, Tommy Hilfiger as well as multi-brand luxury watch retailers Dickson Watch and The Hour Glass with flagship-sized floor plates and double-volume façade frontages.

Sulian Tan-Wijaya, Head of Retail & Lifestyle at Savills Singapore, says: “Having enjoyed a close working partnership with Knightsbridge, as one of their key leasing agents for this prime Orchard Road retail development, it has given our team a fantastic opportunity to showcase its capabilities in retail, despite being a relatively new player in Singapore. We work closely with our global network to bring new brands with innovative concept stores to the Singapore retail scene.”

Savills new CEO for Southeast Asia, Chris Marriott adds: ”This is another indication of our team's ability to bring fresh ideas to market utilizing the best Savills have globally to the dynamic retail scene in Singapore.”
