Top representatives from UEH, Savills and RealPlus attended the signing ceremony, including Dr Pham Khanh Nam, Vice Dean (CELG - UEH), Mr Neil MacGregor, Managing Director (Savills), and Mr Trinh Hoai Duc, Chairman of the Board of Directors (RealPlus).
As the leading real estate service provider in Viet Nam, Savills is committed to developing and recruiting high-quality human resources. This commitment ensures best-in-class services across business lines but especially in hands-on fields like property management.
The partnership with CELG-UEH will not only benefit students but will also act as a mechanism to boost the skills of those interested in real estate. Ultimately, this partnership will contribute to the long-term success of the industry.
Dr Pham Khanh Nam said: “Savills CSR and ESG commitments will contribute to the success of this partnership. UEH and Savills both want to play active roles in building a more sustainable world and industry. Savills real estate expertise and their CSR commitments will mean our students will receive comprehensive training and practical experiences.”
Mr Neil Macgregor noted the significance of the partnership. He added that the possibility of recruiting UEH students in the future would be valuable given the quality of its graduates.
“The partnership with UEH will allow us to bring quality human resources to the field. At Savills, we have a detailed understanding of the industry on a global scale coupled with an extensive management portfolio. This will allow us to deliver detailed but also practical training to the students,.’’ Neil added.
According to Mr Trinh Hoai Duc, the training and internships will equip students with a detailed understanding of the real estate industry and will prepare them for jumping into work after they graduate.
CELG is one of three sister colleges managed by the University of Economics HCMC and the only economics university in Viet Nam to be included in the 2021 QS Asia Ranking. It trains leading graduates who go on to work in diverse fields like economics, psychology, and governance around the world.
