Ha Noi, 16 December 2023 – Savills Property Management Team was proud to partner with Blue Dragon Children's Foundation for the Gift of Happiness campaign for the second year. The campaign delivers meaningful gifts to underprivileged children and their families within Blue Dragon’s community for Christmas and New Year.
When Gift of Happiness first launched in 2022, it became one of Savills most significant community campaigns of the year with residents in Savills managed properties collecting more than 1,000 gifts, including stationery, toiletries or toys for underprivileged children and their families in Ha Noi, Dien Bien, Ha Giang and Blue Dragon’s toy libraries in northern mountainous provinces.
Gift of Happiness is a program run by Savills Property Management Team in collaboration with Blue Dragon Children's Foundation. Each year, the campaign aims to raise awareness and give the residents in Savills managed properties the opportunity to give back to their larger community.
Following the success of 2022, Savills officially launched the Gift of Happiness 2023. Properties across the north of Viet Nam joined the campaign, including Imperia Sky Garden, Sky Park Residence, Mailand Hanoi City (Ha Noi) and Sky Oasis (Hung Yen).
All the gifts from residents were carefully classified by Savills on-site teams and delivered directly to Blue Dragon to send to underprivileged children across Viet Nam. These gifts will hopefully help families in need and support children in achieving a bright future.
Founded in 2023, Blue Dragon has supported more than 20,000 children and families across Viet Nam. The charity’s moto is to ‘be there’ for every child who needs them. They work with street kids, runaway children, victims of human trafficking, children with disabilities, young rural-urban migrants, kids affected by drugs and HIV/AIDS, homeless families, child prisoners, and the rural poor. Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation supports thousands of underprivileged children across Viet Nam, helping those in need with accommodation, educational opportunities, and employment support to help them stay safe, heal, and take steps forward.
For Savills, CSR is important to the success of the built environment. In addition to fundraising and community campaigns, Savills Viet Nam delivers annual scholarships and training opportunities to students in need.
